Kept it simple for a great solstice weekend digging around in the snow with an amazing partner.

Dec. 18-19 - Na slab avalanches sz 1-2.5 at TL and ALP on northeast aspects of Midday Peak and East aspects of Cabin Peak.

Reloaded leeward bed surfaces have accumulated 30-40cm since Dec. 19.

Stellar dry boot-top powder skiing exists above about 1800m. Below 1800m surface conditions transition to moist heavy snow. Very thin Dec 21 ZR layer observed at least up to 1925m.

East aspect @ 1925m. Profile of sz 1 flank showing 30-40cm reloaded bed surface on right sitting on 3cm thick Dec. 7 IFrc/MFcr combo. 65-85cm thick slab on left. Thin Dec. 11 IFsc barely visible left of flank. ECTP 27 down 84 on IFrc/MFcr combo just to left of pit.

Wide propagation along open TL convexity. Sluggish blocks still sitting on bed surface

Crowns visible in foreground. Large propagations in ALP not visible in photo.

North aspect @ 1850m. Dec. 11 SH sz 3-6 down 50cm. Dec. 7 IFrc/MFcr/FC combo down 60cm. ECTP 29 down 50 on rounding SH.
