Commentaires
Toured up to have a look at the slide from Friday's MIN. We put a skin track up the shoulder and were able to get a closer look at the slide and crown. We got 2 small whumphfs on ascent near the top.
The slope above where the party on Friday remote triggered the slide has multiple cracks across it, presumably from when the remote trigger occured. There were similar cracks leading directly up front the crown to the ridgeline, as well as some just above the crown, in the hangfire.
I've attempted to draw the cracks on the photos. It was spooky to see.
Most slopes with a south aspect in the basin had evidence of avalanche activity.
The ski down the shoulder was great.
