Warmed up to our main objective with a less committing slope of the same aspect (North Facing), elevation (Unknown), and exposure to sun and wind(little to none). We hiked and skied the slope with no signs of instability and quite solid bonding between the new storm snow and the coherent base. When we moved on to our main objective we were curious on how the snow would react. We placed a ski cut into a safe zone and set off a size 1.5-2 soft slab slide. It slid to the moraine below the line before stopping (approx. 800-1000 meters). No one was injured or caught in the slide. After it slid and we assured there was no hang fire and skied the remainder of the slope.
