Basic snow conditions in Pemberton

Snowline was around 950m or so for consistent snow on the roads. Over 1100m for consistent snow in the forest. Between 1200 and 1300 to be deep enough to swap from boots to snowshoes. If we were stupid enough to ski would have been higher still. Open terrain above 1400 would be skiable depth. We never found dry snow within 30cm of the surface. Slight crusting above 1550m but not super firm yet. Started raining in the afternoon, above 1600m super wet snowflakes (summit is 1700 so not sure what elevation that changed at)

Too wet and miserable to dig a profile 🤣
