Commentaires
Tons of fun in the sun during our last Beadnell mission today. There are a couple of squeezes over skinny snow patches in the cutblocks to negotiate if you want to get to the lake or the chute, but that's just the season we're having!
It didn't take much time in the sun before snow on south-facing slopes turned to isothermal mush. Due north aspects remained supportive to skis and sleds until at least 2pm, maybe even all day.
We saw lots of old sled tracks in aggressive terrain that did not appear to trigger anything.
Playing the aspect game to get at snow after it's had a chance to soften up but before it's a slurpee is the strategy, but you'll probably still encounter a bit of everything!
