Commentaires
Today we headed up the Microwave to see what we could see.
The day was a mixed bag for us with sunny patches, thick cloud, and pulses of snow. Winds were light from the SE, -7 and we found the crust from the warm weather over the weekend dissipated at 1500m. With the little visibility we had we did manage to observe a size 2.5 wind slab out of a NW alpine feature likely running Sunday.
At 1600m we dug a test pit on a SE aspect and found 370cm of snow. In testing we had results in our extended column tests down 40 on a 10 cm layer of preserved stellar crystals that will likely keep wind slabs reactive for a little longer than usual.
