Commentaires
While skiing across the valley, witnessed 4 sleds high marking beside pyramid mtn. They were climbing quite high and one set off a sizeable slab. Guessing the crown was approximately 0.8 - 2.0m in depth @ 1850m on a SE aspect. The snowmobile luckily (very lucky) rode the debris pile out.
A very close call. The group had been high marking the the slope for a good hour before this class II let go. I would suspect they overstayed their welcome as the slope has been baking in the sun.
No one in the group had any avalanche gear. They should all buy lottery tickets.
