Commentaires
Stayed at Hilda creek Monday night and skied Monday and Tuesday. Skied mellow powdery slopes at treeline on Monday and dug a pit. Pit produced some cracking on 2 layers 20-40cm down but didn’t seem to be reactive. Other than those layers the snowpack seemed stable and the mid pack was bomber. Didn’t see any recent avalanches with decent visibility. We skied the bowl on Parker’s ridge and observed lots of wind affect on the way up and crunchy snow. We skied the bowl feature and found surprisingly good skiing in deep powder due to the wind cross loading the bowl and sheltering it from the heavy winds. We ski cut the top of the run and enjoyed the powder all the way back to the hut. All in all a good 2 days skiing.
