Commentaires
3 people out of our group decided to try to bootpack up to the peak from the col. Bootpack felt very good with a solid but breakable crust when bootpacking. The first person cut across sideways into what seemed the right bootpack when within a step or two the snowpack felt much softer and deeper than before. While considering different lines and looking around the second person saw the windslab cracking about 4-5m above, which took both the first and the second person down while the third one was just far enough to the side that they could stop sliding by getting a foothold through the crust after a few meters. Both the first and second person got swept off their feet with both being submerged in the avalanche. After both were carried over some rocks, the slide triggered a seconday slab with a total run length of about 250m for both. The second person was carried about 60-70m while the first person was taken almost the full length. All involved individuals were able to self arrest and had no or only very minor injuries. All gear was recovered.
