Commentaires
With moderate avalanche hazard and decent visibility between flurries, we were able to see much of Tommy 1. There was 15–30 cm of soft snow sitting on a well-settled snowpack. We observed snow blowing off ridge crests so we avoided the large north-facing slopes, where wind slabs were actively building. The best riding and deepest powder was in sheltered treeline features. Digging down revealed the January and February crusts but they showed no significant reactivity.
