After the super warm weather this week, we were hoping for a cooldown and new snow, and it happened. 15 cm of very light snow that fell Friday and dried out overnight, -13C in the morning and bluebird. A very light crust 15 cm down at lower elevations (1550 m) and no crust higher up. Wind crust from 2 weeks ago is down 40 cm, Feb melt freeze crust is down 115 cm. Some wind effect in the alpine, but treeline glades were superb.
