Another good day of storm riding. We tested the layer below the recent snow and had the layer propagate across the column on the 2nd tap from the elbow during an extended column test. Winds were moderate out of the northeast today; we saw 2 natural avalanches on north aspects in the alpine. With these observations logged in the field book and our minds, we enjoyed exploring simple terrain with enough face shots to go around.
