Mt. Cheam/Cheam Ridge

• Brumeuse
• Chaude
• Mouillée

Conditions d'avalanche

• Augmentation rapide de la température jusqu'à près ou au-dessus de 0°C ou neige mouillée en surface.

Approximately 60cm snow depth at 1800m on the ridge. Storm snow appeared to be well bonded to the thick rain crust underneath, as no signs of slab instability observed. Pinwheeling, large tree bombs, and chunks of wet snow releasing from exposed rocks observed at lower elevations.

Unfortunately we didn't make it to the summit due to time and vis. I suspect the snow/skiing quality would improve steadily above 1800m.
