Commentaires
One person involved, not full burial but was taken through some trees resulting in broken ribs. Injury was severe enough that we triggered an inreach and SAR evacuated victim via helicopter.
Was a size 2 avalanche on NE aspect at 2200m.
Crown was 130m wide and 90-100cm deep. Ran for 150-200m and debris was 2-3m deep in spots. Crown line followed convex ridge feature between two islands of trees and ran into a sparsely treed slope.
Slab ran on Late feb layer that appeared to be facets.
We also remote triggered a more south facing slope from 50m away after the sun had warmed the snowpack.
