Commentaires
Mt Seymour (on AST1 Course) - 1150 meters.
Found roughly 30cm of storm snow above a thin crust. Total snowpack 150cm. Thick crust at 130, which may be the Dec 16th crust. The top layer of the storm snow was fairly reactive in hand shear tests and while testing small convexities. Failing around 25cm down.
Demonstration column test showed fractured 20 & 25 cm down with the thin crust at 28cm. These were moderate results with a sudden planar fracture.
An extended column test showed no propagation on these layers
