Comments
Splitter conditions up Garibaldi on Saturday. Parked just below 1000m and set off around 5am. Managed to stay ahead of FL all morning until we got back to the ridge. Bergshrund was still crossable without faff but the edges are opening. Might even look a lot different by the time this report is written. Solid boot pack from the shrund up to the summit. Boot crampons helpful but we managed without them. Wind affected from summit down the Warren Gl as expected, but the NW aspects were nice and fluffy in the morning.
