Comments
Day out at Kinbasket, 16.5k branch has trees down and is overgrown with Alders. Took another one up for some deep pow.
Heavy trail breaking (snow height over boot, to knees without skis) but the snow seemed well bonded, only minor sluffing in very steep sections and saw small debris of a quite small avalanche in a very steep northeast gully that ran about a hundred meters. Windy only at ridge tops.
Saw two moose on the s-road and its branches, a close encounter with one sitting in a hole on the road and barely visible.
