Comments

Classic terrible North Shore skiing conditions following another intense rain event (hard to believe how little snow we have!): isothermal mush with thin breakable crust in sunny aspects, and hard unbreakable (sort of) in the north aspects. Day cooled down toward the PM, and things were freezing up nicely. Anything not hit by the sun and exposed was no-fall zone. Bring crampons, ice axe etc if venturing out the trodden trail! Sad height of snow at Brockton 1.5 m or less. Still skinnable from the trailhead, and the runs are skiing nicely. Anything else was atrocious.
