Comments
Excellent conditions out at hankin, deep blower powder to be had! ~10cm new snow overnight. We found isolated wind slabs on N and NW aspects near ridgeline that quickly dissipated once you got down to more sheltered areas. I was able to ski cut a size 1 from one of these wind loaded areas, approx 20cm crown, 15m wide and ran ~70m. We observed one natural sz1 in main bowl that likely ran the last day or two.
Lots of cornice formation along the main bowl Ridgeline with from the previous couple days of S winds, we avoided northerly slopes and stuck to cabin bowl primarily skiing W aspects. Moderate winds throughout the day from ESE with lots of transport happening from the overnight snow.
