Skier 1 entered the slope while skier 2 watched from above in a safe spot. 2 turns in slope released above skier 2 but skier 2's location kept him safe. Skier 1 got behind 2 small trees and was safe for a few seconds but then was overcome but was able to change direction while moving downhill on his side, digging his edges into the bed surface he was able to ski out.
