Comments
Core Lodge greeted us with lots of blowing snow and fresh grooming. We rode the front, east side, into the bowl by Terminator Mountain. In the Alpine, we observed a few recent wind slabs, up to size 2, likely 12 to 48 hours old. We dug a test profile at Treeline and found a well consolidated snowpack that did not produce any test results. The deepest pockets of powder we found were in the trees away from the strong winds.
