Comments

Riding directly off the summit of Rowe Peak, a splitboarder entered a small concavity and triggered a size 2 windslab. Crown was anywhere from 10-30cms and the path slid approximately 110m and was approximately 20m wide. Rider slid with the snow initially but was able to stop himself and ride out to the side.

Snow in the alpine on SSE slopes was wind affected and heavy/dense, but as we got lower into more trees, the snow was soft and floaty powder.
