Avalanche conditions

• Slab avalanches today or yesterday.
• Rapid temperature rise to near or above 0°C or wet surface snow.

Good riding above 1600m. Below that was wet slush with no signs of instability. Higher we did the pit test. Storm slab was reactive all day. Very wet snow on surface, directly above a crust layer. Had about 12-15cm of new fresh snow.

Heard a size 2? natural avalanche go off on north face of needle. Could not see where exactly.
