Comments

All aspects of the head wall (pictured) in this area of Lumberton have had recent avalanches since Wednesday Feb 25 (as the crowns and debris were not there then). Huge propagating crowns on all observable aspects from E to SW, many of which stepped down to deeper layers in smaller pockets. Crowns in the range of 150-250m wide.

Along with the big boys described above (as shown in image), we observed consistent wet avalanches in steep open treed + alpine terrain on all aspects.

Mellow riding was phenomenal and snow is mostly still light + blower at elevations of 1900-2200m.
