Comments

When we drove through Bear Pass we witnessed intense wind transport at ridge top (see photo). A sled mission to Mt Dilworth revealed melt-freeze surface conditions almost up to treeline. In exposed areas at treeline and above we observed fairly widespread wind pressing and some sastrugi formation. That said, we still found great riding in many areas. Although we didn't observe any natural avalanche activity in our riding area, we avoided wind-loaded features.
