Riding was ok in the sun during the middle of the day, but pretty challenging once the snow cooled off in the shade and formed a new crust.
Maybe we imagined it, but perhaps the crust is slowly breaking down and faceting, making undisturbed snow slightly less breakable than 2 days ago.
