Comments
Day of sledding at Gorman lake. Watched a group of two from another party trigger Sz 2 slab avalanche on a South facing slope on skiers right side of avalanche path. Roughly 60m wide and 50 - 70cms deep slab, running close to 400m. Likely on a Jan 17th PWL. Sled and rider that triggered were able to ride debris and exit riders left side of path. Not totally certain where exactly it was triggered but path had approx. 5-10 high mark tracks in it before being triggered.
