Comments
Saw a few cornice-fall triggered storm slabs sized 1.5 - 2 today, mostly out of very steep NE facing alpine slopes. There was about 20cm of new snow from yesterday's storm and it appeared that the rain line was around 900m or so. The new snow seems to be bonding well for the most part, we experienced no signs of instability riding mostly in the alpine and tree line areas today. We avoided overhead hazards from big north and east facing alpine slopes and cornices to give the new snow just a bit more time to settle and bond.
