Comments
We attempted to ride sleds at Sinclair today. The road in is pure ice and had us overheating a few times on the way in. Around 1200m the crust became breakable, making for very difficult riding conditions. Bad enough that we decided to turn around after getting stuck a few times.
Above 1300 m the crust is 20 cm thick and breakable. Below 1300 m it is rock hard.
We were not able to observe any avalanche terrain today.
Really tough conditions out there right now!
