Comments
Trigged a machine accidental size 1, breaking on the January 18th surface hoar layer, 37cms down. Which confirmed our compression and extended column tests which both showed failure on the January 18th hoar layer, extended column test showed full propagation on 37cm down hoar layer. Riding quality very good, 30+cms of new snow, and precipitation continued throughout the day. Wind and visibility conditions decreased significantly near the end of the day. Probed 220cm. Rain was seen in the parking lot.
