Comments
Seems like a few parties have gone up cascade in the last few days.
Approach and descent trail are paved in.
Approach ice was mostly nice and clear of snow, a bit of aerated ice and a few thin spots where some folks had stepped through but mostly good coverage.
Low winds through out day, really cold morning but significant warming with the afternoon sun poking out.
Had a few light traces of periodic snow through out the morning.
HS on the climb was around 5-15cm in spots, and similar looking through out top out bowl.
Snow was quite faceted sugar but crystals seemed to have been starting to round.
Overall great outing! Mind the thin spots on the bulges!
