Comments
About 30cm of new snow was reactive over a crust. We easily triggered this soft slab on convex test slopes. The crust was weak above and below and faceted underneath. We got a few loud collapses from our weight.
Light snowfall and south winds were visibly drifting new snow near-and-above treeline.
Kept it mellow and had a fun day.
