Comments
Lots of avalanche debris on all slopes around the lakes. 10cm of wet, heavy snow that really wanted to slide off of the crust underneath made for difficult travel. Dug a hand pit into the crust layer: maybe another 30cm that was not well bonded, but did not shear either.
