Comments
Skied North facing Alpine and NE facing below treeline, found warm temps and high moisture content snow below +/-900m with steady improvement in snow quality to 1700m, Alpine temps around 0 deg with +/-20 cm new snow since last week. Localized wind slabs had formed on exposed terrain but were reasonably well bonded to the snow pack and generally avoidable with terrain selection. Overall stability was excellent with no propagation from convex rolls where wind slab was present, the only natural activity was small crowns to est 15cm on very steep ridgetop rolls and loose/wet sloughing/pinwheeling on sun affected aspects, again no wider propagation was observed
