Comments

It’s not a reset but it’s something! Average of 15 cm new dry snow over the rock hard rain crust, which exists above 1800m. We found decent snow in tight treed meadows, and had good travelling conditions. Strong SW winds at ridgetop, with significant wind transport and drifting, plus new slab formation. We didn’t trigger anything beyond a small pocket but we saw evidence of recent loose and slab avalanches from the previous 24 hrs, plus a lot of older large slides from early in the week.

Snow dance continues….
