I took a trip up to Hargreaves shelter on the berg lake trail over the weekend. The snowpack was very shallow and rocky up to the shelter. My plan was to meander around to Rearguard and see how far up I could get but I turned around shortly after triggering the slide in the pictures probably around 1800 or 1900m. I never ended up taking my skins off that day. All of the slopes I touched were either scoured or wind slabs. Perhaps it’s nice higher up in less wind-affected spots. It was my first time in the area, so it’s also possible I just didn’t know where to look for better ski terrain
