❄️ It's still winter in Kakwa! ❄️

Riding quality was:

Amazing

Snow conditions were:

• Crusty
• Powder

We rode:

• Mellow slopes
• Open trees
• Sunny slopes

The day was:

• Cloudy

We went for a short rip this afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to find 17 cm at 1700m and snowing hard! We could feel the sun crust underneath, but in shaded areas it went away and our sled tracks got MUCH deeper. There was no sign of wind affect yet.

Low cloud meant we didn't have a good view into the alpine, but we didn't see any recent avalanches. There were a bunch of old, large, wet debris piles from the warm up on southerly aspects.
