The day was obscured with fog, poor vis did not allow any quality obs or significant travel into avalanche terrain. Treeline snowpack depths avg 2m, we found the Nov crust near the base , giving very hard deep tap test results. No other significant shears - but obs limited to one pit, in a somewhat non representative area.
