Comments
Crusty in the lower trees from old tree bombs and warming. Open areas in the lowers had a zipper crust. Once we got above 850 meters, conditions improved and we found deep powder. We avoided steep slopes and alpine terrain. It was snowing and visibility was poor. Winds were calm in the trees but picked up to moderate at higher up. Elevations covered: 670m-1280m.
