Comments
Ride the right side of the Fraser gully. Conditions were variable, with pockets of accumulation, and areas where the underlying crust has been exposed. In the trees this crust was generally buried about 10-20cm of soft slabby snow. We saw some shooting cracks on steeper convex slopes, and caused a small isolated windslab pocket to propagate right around treeline on a steeper slope. Following that we skied mellow slopes in the trees as the skiing was better in the sheltered areas
