Pockets of grabby hard slab at treeline but below and out of the wind great skiing. Both crust and surface hoar are breaking down with recent cold temps - the crust from last week is barely noticeable.
Periods of snow transport through the day from moderate northerly winds forming small pockets of wind slab at treeline and presumably in the alpine also.
