The Are You Beeping beacon checkpoint sign at Kootenay Pass, supplied via a grant from BCHydro and maintained by Nelson Search and Rescue has been taken down for this season. You will see it again in November 2024. This year also had a trail counter. Today was spring conditions with no very recent signs of instability. A lot more signs of snowshoes than skiis.
