Comments
30+ last night. Calm/light winds. The thin rain crust from Christmas Eve is noticeable with a pole until 1900m and then it’s so thin or non-existent. Great skiing in the dense trees, but too much snow on lower angle areas that made for some wallowing in the flats. The snowpack feels right side up and 150+ cm in the trees. At 2000m on a forested ridge there started to be some cracking so we turned around.
