Comments
Good riding conditions today down mellow slopes dropping in from the north side of the Needle Peak Trail ridge. Very wind affected in exposed areas above 1600m. One hand strike caused a 20cm break in a column test. A size 1 avalanche was triggered off the ridge by our group. It produced at slab slide with a 20 meter wide crown. Marginal and thin skiing conditions below 1500m.
