Comments
We found some fun skiing near Hudson Bay Mountain where 15-20 cm of fluffy snow is sitting on an old rain crust up to (1650 m) treeline elevations. We ski cut a steep southwesterly alpine roll before dropping in to ski, and got some shooting cracks and small chunks of wind slab to pop off. Temperatures were cold and there was no wind. Treeline elevations have seen almost no wind effect so far. We enjoyed the sun and good skiing while we had it!
