Comments
We hit up the Tutshi Chutes in an attempt to avoid the potential Buckwheat Traffic jam.
Didn’t look like many skiers in the area of late. Very shallow snowpack compared to previous years. River was safe to cross but skiing conditions were suboptimal due to the exposed alders and crust.
While we didn’t dig a pit, at ~900m we did notice fresh snow sitting on a crusty layer 20cm down with facets underneath.
Hopefully we get some more snow!
