Walked towards Lost Lake today to scout the route for a future hut trip. There was enough snow on the main road to sled, but not once the small access road turned off. Lots of open creeks and barely covered boulders until around 1450m. Conditions improved above.
Not enough snow to ski below treeline, alders need a lot more coverage. We got up to 1750m on the access road and snow conditions improved drastically, seemed like at treeline and above would be nice skiing.
