Comments
Observed a recent size 1.5 slide on NE slope of Tally Ho. Slid 50m on steep grassy slope, with approx 25cm crown. Skin track in proximity suggests possibly skier triggered yesterday.
Observed size 2.5 slide in ravine on NE slope of Tally Ho. 20cm fresh snow on top of debris. Flowed out of multiple drainages in upper basin, to 100m below constriction at approx 1500m elevation. Debris 2.4m deep in centre of fan.
Pack at 1500m in open trees was HS 90cm. Bottom 45cm loose facets, 20cm consolidated storm slab, 25cm fresh unconsolidated powder on top. Turned back due to terrain trap features.
Temp -25 all day, winds light easterly, mostly cloudy.
