Comments

Skied into Fryatt hut for 3 days.

One column test yielded no results. One obvious layer at about 120cm from top of snowpack and one faint layer about 30cm from top of snowpack on easterly slope.

Skied treeline and felt stable. Good skiing at treeline with some wet snow, maybe 10cm of powder on top.

On the way out for about 10cm of snow. We saw one size 1 avalanche off the south slope - sluff. Saw a larger slab avalanche on a north facing slope on the way out just before the bridge.

Athabasca was frozen - felt solid
