Comments

Conditions from Mt MacPherson

Variable wind effect from 1800m and above.

Ski down from the summit was completely scoured. Ski quality was Ok at best.

With the temperature inversion today, snow above the cloud layer was moist by 13:00.

The womb feature was variable with yet again more wind affect in the upper gulley. Skiing was challenging but enjoyable till about 1200m.

Below this snow levels tapered, but was actually some of the best snow quality of the day.

The crust was down about 20-40cm. But no reactivity to skier traffic. Felt a progressive and well settled snowpack underneath this layer.

The bottom gulley is pretty well filled with a couple of creek holes.
